 What a start to the new year! Its been a fantastic month of Celebrity Big Brother, and our most successful Celebrity Edition Site, with over 8000 unique visitors! However, the time has now come for a fond farewell. On behalf of everyone at UKBB we would like to thank you for taking the time out, and browsing the site. However all good things must come to an end. Work has already begun on the next site, and we will give you some sneak previews sooner to the launch in May.

 Non-celeb Chantelle Houghton has triumphed in this year's Celebrity Big Brother.
After 23 days, the final vote came down to a showdown between Chantelle and Michael Barrymore.
Chantelle had entered the house on launch night under the guise of being a singer with the fictional band Kandyfloss. Having successfully fooled her housemates into thinking she was a celebrity, Chantelle was permitted to stay and the twist was revealed.
Earlier tonight four of the six finalists - Traci, Pete, Preston and Maggot - were evicted, leaving Chantelle and Michael to battle it out in the final vote.
Davina crossed live to the house at 10.15pm to announce the result, sending Chantelle into shock.
Holding her hands to her mouth, she repeated: "Oh my God, oh my God!"
Smiling sincerely, Michael hugged her before leaving the house to a rapturous reception from the assembled crowd.

 Michael has left the Big Brother house in second place after missing out on the Celebrity Big Brother winning position to Chantelle.
As the announcement was made that Chantelle had won, they both celebrated the result and he left shortly afterwards to a cheering awaiting crowd and to meet with Davina.
"I've won before I got to this evening, I feel so great. I've had such a brilliant time!" said Michael, when Davina asked if he was disappointed not have won. |

 Maggot has taken the bronze medal, finishing in third place.
The news means Michael Barrymore and non-celebrity Chantelle Houghton now face it out in the final showdown for viewers' votes.
"Yes," Maggot shouted on hearing the news. "That's cool."
"Give us a kiss Maggot," said Chantelle, standing up to embrace him. "Well done, third place."
"Down to you pair, fucking hell," Maggot added as Michael remained in a semi-stunned state.
"God, Jesus," cursed a trembling Chantelle as the news began to sink in. "I'm quiet for once... the hands aren't so still now. It's me and Michael Barrymore off the telly!"

 Preston has been evicted from the house, finishing a surprise third place.
The Ordinary Boys frontman had been second favourite to win the show behind Chantelle.
Leaving the house, he took a sharp intake of breath, before clapping as he walked out of the door and down the stairs to a cheering crowd.
Appearing completely overwhelmed by the experience, he posed with solemn expression for the press then joined Davina up on stage.

 Pete Burns has been evicted from the house, finishing in fifth place.
Davina crossed to the house for the second time just after 8.45pm to announce the result.
"Don't touch the makeup," he screamed as Preston lifted him in an embrace. After a quick goodbye, Pete gathered his fur coat and began a calm walk out of the house.
His exit was the first, and most likely only, of the evening to be greeted by a negative reception from the crowd.
